Well, I have mixed reviews here. They claim that they love to educate. Not true. They like "jewelry dumb" people because they are easier to sucker. They never tell you a price on something--they skirt the issue as long as possible. They don't offer the loupe to inspect a stone, they will sell you anything and claim its the best. I have been through numerous return visits with this company and my jewelry still isn't right. I spent nearly $10k on a 1.5 carat round diamond in a floating setting. The jewelers have never been able to set the stone correctly. The stone keeps coming loose. I have taken it back 3 times and I noticed again yesterday that the stone is loose again. I just got this ring for christmas proposal. I took it back again today, and the attitude I got was horrible. I felt very uncomfortable. When I questioned why the stone came loose, they blamed my fiance for being too hard on it. She never wears it while cleaning, showering, working out, etc. Takes good care of it. They do shoddy work. The quality of the craftsmanship is really not up to par. For what you pay, you are better off buying from a designer and having the ring specially made. They charge the same money as a designer does. I got taken by them pretty good for the quality of ring I have. I am taking this setting back next week since they sawed the prongs off today in their latest repair attempt and now the ring looks like absolute crap. As soon as I get the setting replaced, I won't do business with them again. Lesson learned. Take it for what its worth--if you don't mind people being a little shady and you can tolerate over priced poor craftsmanship, then this store is for you. If you demand the quality you paid for, you are better off going somewhere else.

Let others know what you think of Meierotto Midwest Jewelry.

I would recommend this company to a friend.
